Philippine Elite Series
The following races make up the 2023 Philippine Elite Series:
● February 17, 2023 - Vermosa, Cavite
● May 26, 2023 - Alviera, Pampanga
● November 17, 2023 - Montclair, Pampanga
PH Elite Series Rules:
● Your best 2 out of 3 races will count toward your series ranking.
● All races are scored the same. There is no weighting between different events.
● There are no separate Age Group divisions or Master’s divisions within the Elite
category.
● Only the race-specific race distance/day will count towards the series ranking, other
races held that weekend does not count towards the series.
● All events will take place on the brand new Spartan 3K distance. See the official
Spartan Rulebook for more details.
Philippine Elite Series Point System:
All races are scored using a 300-point system. Points are assigned based on the Elite competitor's
final place and gender.
Points will be awarded as follows:
1. 300
2. 264
3. 236
4. 216
5. 204
6. 192
7. 180
8. 168
9. 156
10. 144
11. 132
12. 131
For places beyond 11th, the point differential between each finisher will be 1 point.
Philippine Elite Series Prize Money:
PH National Series (Age Group)
This series will focus on elevating Age Group athletes and all athletes looking to race in smaller
heats at a more competitive level. This is your chance to prove yourself amongst your peers for the
chance to be crowned champion.
The following races make up the 2023 PH National Series:
● February 18, 2023 - Vermosa, Cavite | SUPER
● May 27, 2023 - Alviera, Pampanga | BEAST
● November 18, 2023 - Montclair, Pampanga | BEAST
PH National Series (Age Group) Rules:
● Your FULL SERIES ranking will be based on ALL 3 RACES.
● All race levels are scored the same. There is no weighting between race levels, for
example, Sprint vs Super, or Sprint vs Beast.
● Only the race-specific race distance/day will count towards the series ranking, other
races held that weekend does not count towards the series.
● Only competitors who sign up and compete in the Age Group Heat will earn points.
PH National Series (Age Group) Prize Money:
Non-cash prizes will be presented to the top 3 men and women in each age group, along with
special edition PHNS Age Group delta awards. Packages will be mailed at the conclusion of the
series.
PH National Series (Age Group) Point System
All races are scored using a 1,000-point system. Points are assigned based on an athlete's final
place and their gender, within their specified age group category.
Points are calculated using the following formula.
1st Place Age Group Finishers Time (Minutes)/Your Finish Time (Minutes) x 1000 = Total Points
Score
Example:
● 1st Place Age Group Time - 60:00 Minutes
● Your Time - 72:00 Minutes
● 60/72 x 1000 = 833 Points
Competitors ranked below 1,000 places in their Age Group will not earn any points.
